Even if I already have copies of my fav LP:s it's always interesting to find further variations if I can get them for a modest fee. For exemple this Japanese one. Like with the UK original press https://monolover.blogspot.com/2022/04/james-taylor-apcor-3-68-uk-mono.html it came on Apple with same sleeve design and black inner. Though while both fold/out covers are laminated this has a hard core while the UK is more floppy and here I also get an insert with lyrics translated to Japanese. The more valuable Japanese variations was pressed on red vinyl with obi and this isn't so, but since the audio with all certainty coincide and it came at a price I could afford I'm good. The audio doesn't differ much from the UK original. This may be percieved as tiny bit softer, thus coming out somewhat less separated, making the intake more coherent and in a way sweeter to the ears. The miniscule difference probably only meaningful to the most zealot audiophiles, but since many of them go for Japanese pressings it's worth mentioning. I'm certainly happy with both and couldn't choose even at gunpoint. (BÄ*) (ÄPLÄ*) (ÄZÄ*)
