A Swedish alternative to the 1966 UK compilation "Mann Made Hits" (CLP 3559), with other tracking and exclusive wrapping. While that had a few later recordings, this concertrates on the years 1963-65 with a bundle of early UK non-LP cuts - among them "Cock-A-Hoop", "Stay Around" and "Watermelon Man", not on the English compilation. All tracks have the original '45 mono mixes with top audio. Even though they did a lot of good later I like these first years best. To my ears every song here is a winner and all together a very nice listening. Issued in mono only. First had label as shown here, thick unflexible vinyl and fully laminated cover. Great group. I'm still looking for copy of their last album 'Mighty Garvey'. It's not rare but it's hard to find in good shape.
