KRAFTWERK/EXCELLER 8 6360629 (-75) UK
A collection of tracks from their first four LP:s...or so it seems at first. But only two of the cuts are exactly the same - "Tongebirge" and "Kristallo" from "Ralf Und Florian" - while the "Autobahn" version here is different from both album and '45 variations and the rest have edits exclusive to this LP. So it's a lot more than just an ordinary compilation and worth while even if you have the regular albums. Briefly a fan myself at the time as I thought they sounded new and fresh. Now I keep them as an important part of music history, but don't listen very often. When I do get in the mood for their earlier stuff this is always my first choice - less enduring exercises but you can still enjoy all the good ideas. Contemporary releases in a couple of other countries, but never legally re-issued on vinyl or CD anywhere. First UK had label as shown here and thin structured cover. (ÄZC*) (PÖP*) (WLÖ*)

My copy doesn't have a picture inner... and the one shown here is definitely NOT Kraftwerk...

SvaraRaderaNo? Very sorry if that's true. You're right it don't look like them. Bought it with the inner some years ago and was told it was original. Will change the post immediately.
RaderaThanks for telling.
Kindly/Erik
Thanks for replying so quickly! I think there was never a picture inner. Mine has s generic plastic inner sleeve. By the way, I stumbled onto this blog through the Steve Hoffman forums and now I can't stop reading. Excellent piece of work! Best, Sytze

SvaraRaderaThanks for Your kind words.
RaderaI'm doing the best I can with what I got, but with over 1200 records posted there's bound to be a few mistakes.
