After the big breakthrough with "In The Summertime" 1970 the band almost blew their fuses the following years, recording a large number of albums and doing sell-out concerts. Just up to 1972 they released five albums and had five hit singles in UK alone. Honestly some of the LP:s up to this wasn't all tophole, but had a few nice tracks each surronded by what can be regarded as fill-outs. So in additon to the first two albums this is all I need by the group. All previous UK A-sides and some of the best album cuts. Soggy rattling jug-band music, happy and positive. Far from the complex, demanding stuff I usually dive in to, but it tickles me and always brings a smile. Issued world wide in the seventies with a large number of sleeve and tracking variations.
