PAUL McCARTNEY/ SILLY LOVE SONGS - JET - NO WORDS r62-10367-8 MONO USSR
Russian 3-track 33 rpm mono EP. I don't know much about it. 1983 a vinyl stereo EP with same songs and a picture sleeve was issued in Sovjet on Melodia label. This is probably earlier. It has a thin fold-out paper sleeve and the disc is flexi. The label is Melodia and have info in relief, incuding the mono triangle (sorry I can't scan better than this). The audio is surprisingy fine and it comes through more like some old Beatles recording than contemporary stuff. That's all I have. Maybe it was a record club issue or came with a magazine. If anyone here knows more, please tell! (BÄ*) (BÅC*)(MÄCC*)

I think it's typical for Eastern Europ records. Not club issue, just normal, official single which you could buy in bookshops or record stores. Please take a look at this one -

It was pressed in Poland in 1978 on EMI licence.
And another example -

It's 'Odessey And Oracle' pressed in 1973 in Poland on Pronit label.

It's examples of typical records of Communism era.

Thanks for the info. I will check it out. Two things fascinates me with this - the very late stock mono and the fine audio, the best I've ever heard from a flexi.
SvaraRaderathe flexi EPs were usual in former Soviet Union.
SvaraRaderai once owned such flexi EP with Simon and Garfunkel songs 'Cecilia' and 'Homeward Bound'.
there was a magazine accompanied usually by a dozen of such flexi EPs named Кругозор (it may be translated as 'scope' or 'eyesight'). most of them were dedicated to popular music (both East and West European), but sometimes this magazine demonstrated academical music new (e.g. comparison of Bach 'Matthäus-Passion' performed under the baton of Klemperer and Harnoncourt).
and all the sonic demonstrative material for my mom's medical cyclopaedia also was released on such flexies.
Thanks for Your insightful comment. Now I know and will try to locate more of those.
