This is about UK first press only. There may be alternative tracking, edits or cover design on other issues. A compilation well worth having. Not because of rarity - although the cover says limited edition and have a stamped number on back, it was originally issued as such in many countries and later re-pressed without the numbering. Also the track choice is rather ordinary - "Just For The Box" was previously unreleased and a few other cuts have alternate edits - "All Right Now" the '45 version and "Fire And Water" the shorter US cut. Apart from that it's the common UK album versions as far as I can hear and it's all good. Two LP:s containing twenty songs from one of Britain's best rock groups at the period with smashing audio. The matt fold/out cover has six pages inside with the band's full story and pictures from diffrent periods in their carreer. The structured black inners have full discography on one side and track list/credits on the other. Very pleasant altogether with about everything I want from a compilation - top sound, lots of info, nice pics and at least a few rarities - all high quality from vinyl pressing to cover finish. Die-hard fans probably have it already, but if you're new to the band it's a very good start. Dont know of any US release, but it came on vinyl in Canada, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and a number of other countries. Also frequently issued on CD from the late eighties and on. (FDÄ*)
