FLYBACK 4 - THE BEST OF THE PROCOL HARUM TON 4 (-71) UK

One of those compilations I can't be without . Doesn't matter if I already have all the tracks, when it's a favorite band you'd want it from every possible angle. This collection is also more than the compiling - for once without "A Whiter Shade Of Pale", concentrating on other goodies - and the fact that it came on a shortlived and collectible label. It was the first time you could hear cuts from their debute album - i.e. "Conquistador" and "She Wandered Through The Garden Fence" - in true stereo, initially mixed directly for this issue. And as I understand it was also the first issue including the 1967 stereo mix of "Homburg" . So apart from lots of good music with top audio you get some rock history - let be from a very small perspective and mainly for Procol Harum fans, but still. Released and rereleased on vinyl through the seventies on different labels in Europe and downunder. US 1972 issue (A&M SP-4401) came with different tracking and sleeve design.
