This is the most unknown Beach Boys album. Pop duo Diane Rowell and Marilyn Wilson, formed with influece from Marilyns then husband Brian Wilson and broke up after the couples divorce. Brian is involved in all production and arrangements of the songs and has written four of them, while one was made by Dennis Wilson. The group also does background vocals on most of the tracks and plays on some. And if you don't listen very carefully it sounds like a Beach Boys record - a few of the original tracks could have placed on any contemporary BB LP, with the soft atmosphere and elaborated back-ground vocals and sometimes the girls even sing the lead vocals like them. The dou was called "Spring" in US, but "American Spring" in the rest of the world. The album did not sell much on release and is now considered rare.
