Recorded in May -63, but issued first two years later. The "founder of British blues" is moving on here. Instrumental album with some very cool jazz/blues experiments. Group including Dick Heckstall-Smith, Art Themen, Johnny Parker, Phil Seamen and Mike Scott. Though with emphasis on jazz this is a very early prog album. Not easy listening, but the amazing sound quality makes it worth it. Issued in mono only. No original release on vinyl in US. First with label as shown here and laminated cover.
