Cool jazz/blues album, very laid-back. But what catches me most with the record is the marvellous sound quality. The instrumentation is sparse and separation beautiful. So natural it's like having the boys over for a private gig. If all monos had been like this there would have been no need for stereo. Also playing is Danny Thompson and Terry Cox while guys from the group Pentangle handles the rythm section. Don't know if this was originally issued in US, but released in France late sixties on BYG records (529.502). First UK with label as shown here and fully laminated cover. (YMÖ*) (XLÄ*)
