Birmingham poet, singer/songwriter, folk musician and composer. Started as a teacher, but became professional artist 1966. Has made seventeen albums with his own songs, many covered by other artists. This debute album has rather mellow melodies, but beautiful production and hits you as very English and very cozy. I like it very much, especially how the mono comes out. Knowing about Decca mono-stereo policy at the time it's probably a fold, but it sounds just fine. (DÄN*)(SYSÖ*)
