WILBERT HARRISON/LET'S WORK TOGETHER HA.8415 (-70) UK MONO
Harrison is mostly known for his massive hit with Lieber/Stollers "Kansas City", #1 on Billboard 1959. After that he toured and performed for many years before he got his next big seller with a re-make of his -62 single "Let's Stick Together", named "Let's Work Together" 1969. The original song have been covered many times since, by Bryan Ferry and Canned Heat among others. This is a nice blues album, laid-back but still sincere. The UK 1970 mono sounds exactly like a radio promo, so I guess that's what the mix was for. Originally released by Sue Records In USA (SS8801). As far as I know the last double issue on UK London. First with label as shown here and laminated cover. (UKÖ*)(YMÖ*)(SYSÖ*)
