Their second album. While the first can be labeled psych soul, this is made for dancing only. Perhaps the first modern disco LP. Still with clear influences from soul and psych, but production and atmosphere makes it something different and in a way a forerunner to the seventies disco boom. Apart from that I don't think it's a great LP. Two or three top numbers, but it's the same formula all through and lttle variation between the tracks. Perfect for party moves, not so much for close listening. Issued twice in US, second early seventies (E 30334) in stereo only with different cover. This mix is from the first issue (Epic LN 24371).
