Group led by guitar legend Tony McPhee. This debute album was recorded live in the studio, almost unproduced without overdubs, to get it as authentic as possible. What you get is the band exactly as they were, without any cosmetic overlays. I have not heard its stereo counterpart, but this mono sounds like the real deal, with the raw, unpolished sound the group was after. Issued in US as stereo only (World Pacific Records WPS-21892).
